CES is a market pioneer that provides an integrated service model to the education, nonprofit, and trust industries. 33 state secondary schools in Canterbury founded CES in 1989 to replace the defunct Christchurch Secondary Schools Council, and it opened an office in Auckland in 2007. Being an incorporated society and a cooperative, our structure is distinctive among providers of financial services in that all revenues are donated to support education. As a cooperative, CES has evolved into a competitive, commercially focused organization with a focus on customer happiness and service.
